A few clear ground rules.

Using Cogni

Cogni is a personal capture and organization app. Private-testing features may change or be unavailable. Keep an export of important local content. Do not use the service unlawfully, access another person’s account or attempt to bypass usage or payment controls.

Your content

You retain your rights to content you add. You authorize processing needed for the features you choose, including optional connected AI. You remain responsible for having the rights to upload or process third-party material.

Free and Pro

Free includes text/link capture, Inbox, basic search and access to existing content. Advanced features require a verified entitlement. The actual Apple purchase sheet shows localized total, period and any eligible offer before confirmation. No free trial is promised.

Apple subscriptions

When available, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple before renewal. Manage them in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Restore purchases reconnects an eligible existing purchase. Deleting the app or account does not itself cancel the subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s refund process, subject to applicable rights.

After Pro ends

Existing entries remain available to read, edit, delete and export. Advanced Pro tools may become unavailable. Keep backups of content you rely on.

AI and visualization

AI output can be inaccurate. Review suggestions and sources. The brain artwork and neighborhoods are organizational illustrations, not a brain scan or a measurement of mental health. Cogni does not diagnose, treat or guarantee improved cognition, productivity or wellbeing.

See our privacy notice and support page. Apple’s standard licensed application terms may also apply to the App Store distribution. Nothing here excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
